Lord Ganesha, the giver of success and the destroyer of obstacles, loves Ladoo Prasad. Motichoor laddu or gram flour laddu. It is believed that these two are very dear to Lambodar. Gram flour ladles can be offered to Lord Ganesha during Ganeshotsav. Traditional Indian sweet gram flour laddus are very tasty and very easy to make than other sweets. During the 9 days of worshiping Lord Ganesha, you can offer gram flour ladles at any time.
Making gram flour laddus is very easy and does not take much time to prepare. This time if you want to offer gram flour laddus to Ekdant then you can make gram flour laddus very easily with the help of the method given by us.
Ingredients for making gram flour laddus
Gram flour – 2 cups
Watermelon seeds – 2 tbsp
Desi Ghee – 1/2 cup
Chopped cashews – 2 tbsp
Cardamom – 3-4
Sugar – 1 cup
How to make gram flour laddus
To make traditional Indian sweet gram flour laddus, first heat half a cup of desi ghee in a pan and heat it on medium flame. When the ghee melts, add 2 cups gram flour and mix well with the help of a ladle. Reduce the gas flame during this time. Using thick gram flour will make the laddu grainy. The gram flour is to be roasted till golden brown. If the mixture becomes dry, add one more tablespoon of ghee.

How to make gram flour laddus

It will take 15-20 minutes to roast gram flour properly. After that the gram flour will start releasing ghee and fry the gram flour for another 10 minutes. Then switch off the gas and take the mixture in a big bowl and let it cool. Meanwhile, put chopped cashew nuts and watermelon seeds in a pan and dry them. Add gram flour and mix well.
Now add a cup of sugar and cardamom in a blender and blend. Now add sugar powder to roasted gram flour and mix well. You can also use straight sugar syrup instead of sugar if you wish. Be careful to keep the mixture cool while adding the sugar and the sugar will dissolve when heated. Finally take the prepared mixture in your hands and tie it in a ladle and keep it on a plate and let it set. Make laddus from the whole mixture. The ladle is ready to be offered to Ganapati Bappa.
