The new Teclast P85T comes with an attractive design, with curved edges and thick bezels on the display. There are two rings on the back, one of which houses a 2MP camera sensor while the other houses an LED flash. The tablet features an 8-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1,280 x 800 pixels. It is powered by the Allwinner A523 chipset, coupled with 4GB of LPDDR4x RAM.

The Allwinner A523 is an octacore chipset with eight ARM Cortex-A55 CPU cores. The cores are evenly divided into two groups, each group having four cores. Group 1 cores run at 1.8 GHz, while Group 2 cores run at 1.42 GHz. The chipset also features Mali-G57 MC1 GPU.
