Ingredients for making gram flour and onion curry
Gram flour – 1 cup
Long chopped onion – 1/2 cup
Turmeric – 1 teaspoon
Cumin – 1 teaspoon
Mustard – 1 tsp
Ajwain – 1 teaspoon
Coriander powder – 2 teaspoons
Asafoetida – 1/4 tsp
Green chilli – 3
Red chilli powder – 1/2 tsp
Oil – 1-2 teaspoons
Curry leaves – 8-10
Chopped coriander – 2-3 tbsp
salt to taste
Recipe to make gram flour and onion curry
To make delicious curry of onion and gram flour, first sieve the gram flour in a container. After this, add one or two cups of water to the gram flour and make a fine batter. – Now add turmeric, celery, coriander powder, red chili powder to the solution and mix. If you wish, you can rely on the help of the batsman for the batting. Now take a pan and keep it aside to heat on medium flame. When the pan is hot, add one or two spoons of oil in it.
When the oil is hot, add mustard seeds and cumin seeds and let it crackle slightly, then add asafoetida, curry leaves, green chillies and chopped onion and fry. When the onion becomes a little soft and transparent, add the prepared thin solution of gram flour to it and cook while stirring with a spoon. – After some time, add salt as per taste in gram flour. Now let the gram flour cook till it boils. When the gram flour starts thickening, add green coriander to it and let it cook for some time. – After this turn off the gas. Delicious curry of gram flour and onion is ready. It can be served with roti or paratha.
