Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) Indias largest IT services company announced a key leadership transition on Thursday. Sudeep Kunnumal a company veteran will assume the role of Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) designate succeeding Milind Lakkad after his superannuation.

Kunnumal who currently heads the HR function for TCS’s largest vertical Banking Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI) will officially step into the CHRO role following Lakkads retirement. This transition shows TCS’s commitment to nurturing leadership talent from within its ranks ensuring continuity in its HR strategy.
TCS Leadership Changes
 The exact date of superannuation for Lakkad who has been working as CHRO since 2019 was not known immediately. TCS is the largest private sector employer in the country having over 6 lakh people on its rolls.

Kunnumal has a masters in HR Management from Madurai Kamaraj University and has worked in North America Europe and Asia Pacific.

The company statement said Kunnumal has accorded top priority to attract and retain top-tier talent during his career and has undertaken transformative work in talent acquisition.
