On February 27, on the occasion of the formal completion of Mahakumbh, CM Yogi announced to set up a corporation for payment to sanitation workers. He said that from April, it will pay Rs 16,000 per month to each sanitation worker. He said that with minimum wages, not only the scavengers, but also health workers will be linked to this system. Apart from this, health workers will be given the benefit of health insurance up to five lakh rupees to health workers, cleaning workers and other employees.

It is said that for the remuneration of sanitation workers, the Kings Company has been given time till Wednesday afternoon, after which legal action will be taken.

The municipal administration said that the Kings have already been released to the company. The final termination notice in this entire case, Additional Municipal Commissioner Deepender Yadav said that the Kings Company has already been given the final notice of the termination due to failure in the work. In fact, the workers affiliated to the Kings Company held talks with their representatives with Mayor Umesh Chandra Ganesh Kesarwani and Additional Municipal Commissioner Deepender Yadav on Tuesday evening when the remuneration was not paid.

Even after the end of Mahakumbh, the King Company did not pay their complete remuneration to the cleaning workers

After the talks, Additional Municipal Commissioner Deepender Yadav said that the Kings Company was given a contract for cleanliness work in Mahakumbh. The company had to appoint 3250 sanitation workers, but he failed in this task. After which 2000 cleaning workers were signed with 3 other companies involved in the tender. Even after the Mahakumbh ended, the Kings Company did not pay their complete remuneration to the cleaning workers. While the other 3 companies have made full payment of all their workers. Action has been taken in view of this.

Employees working during Mahakumbh demonstrated fiercely at the corporation office on Tuesday evening. The employees alleged that they had not been paid yet. Due to which there has been an economic crisis in front of them. In view of this, action has been taken by the corporation.
