It is 18 km from Shimla and only 6 km from Kufri. Fagu is named most of the year due to the fog. The weather here is pleasant in summer, but in winter the beautiful view here is covered with fog.

The best season for visit to Fagu is May to October. However, traveling during monsoon is a bit difficult. After July and August, the weather becomes pleasant again. It gets very cold here during the winter season. Traveling frequently in this season is also not fun.
