Rajma Method of preparation:
Material:
- Rajma (kidney beans) – 1 cup
- Water – to boil
- Oil – 2 table spoon
- Onion – 1, finely chopped
- Tomato – 2, Puree or Finely chopped
- Ginger-Garlic Paste-1 Table Spoon
- Green chili – 2, finely chopped
- Cumin – 1 tsp
- Red chili powder – 1 tsp
- Coriander powder – 1 table spoon
- Turmeric Powder – ½ tsp
- Garam Masala – 1 tsp
- salt to taste
- Green coriander – for decoration

Method of making Rajma:
- First of all, wash Rajma thoroughly and soak it in water overnight. The next morning, put them in the pressure cooker to boil.
- Put Rajma in the cooker and add 4-5 cups of water. Now add salt and boil the rajma up to 4-5 whistles. Then turn off the gas and wait for the pressure to end for 10-15 minutes.
- Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds and let it crackle. Then add finely chopped onion and fry till it becomes golden.
- Now add ginger-garlic paste and green chili and fry for some time.
- Add tomatoes and cook them well, until they start leaving soft and oil.
- Now add turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chili powder and fry the spices well.
- Add boiled rajma and mix well. Then add 1-2 cups of water and let it cook on low flame for 15-20 minutes, so that the spices and Rajma are mixed well.
- Then, add garam masala and mix and cook for 5 more minutes.
- If you want, you can decorate by adding green coriander.
Now, hot hot Rajma Is ready! Serve it with rice, paratha or rotis and taste.
