The broadcaster lamented the "anger and negativity in the world" and said she was "exhausted and emotionally drained".
The 45-year-old wrote on on Friday (January 24): "Exhausted today. Emotionally drained. So much anger and negativity in the world. It's not good for the soul.
"I had an idea overnight though and it's made me feel excited. I think we can do something. Something pure, something that will be a lasting good.
"Very early days but I'm busy today working on it. Stay tuned..."
Michelle's post was inundated with positive messages from her followers. One penned: "Same feeling here (and dealing with very recent pet loss). I feel *completely* empty. If you have an idea to bring some light back into our world, I'm all ears."
Another echoed: "The majority of us feel exactly the same as you @MichelleDewbs totally dejected!"
A third commented: "Yes, we need positivity. Yesterday really made me feel that there is an inherent evil in this world and it appears to be getting stronger. There is also so much good and we need to focus on that too, or the future looks very dystopian."
While a fourth was concerned for Michelle's wellbeing and asked: "Hi Michelle, do you get offered someone to talk to in your job when dealing with these types of horrific events?"
