Yes, the name of this chutney is ginger chutney. Ginger chutney is known as Alam Pachaddi in households of Andhra Pradesh. People there serve it with dosa and idli. Ingredients to make Ginger Chutney
-200 grams green chilli
-80 grams ginger
-100 grams jaggery
-70 grams tamarind
-2 teaspoon oil
-Salt as per taste
-hot water
Ingredients for Ginger Chutney Tadka
-2 tbsp oil
-1 tsp mustard seeds
-1 tsp cumin
-2 sprigs curry leaves
-2 dry red chillies
Easy way to make ginger chutney
To make ginger chutney, first wash green chillies and ginger and cut them into thick pieces. Now put oil in a pan and heat it. When the oil becomes hot, add 200 grams of green chillies and fry until the color of the green chillies changes. After this, add chopped ginger to the pan and fry it for 5 minutes. Now prepare a paste by adding ginger, green chilli, hot water, jaggery and tamarind in the mixer. Now to prepare the tadka of chutney, heat 2 teaspoons of oil in a pan, add 1 teaspoon cumin and 1 teaspoon mustard seeds and fry them. After this add 2 dry red chillies and 1 sprig of curry leaves. Pour this tempering over the already prepared chutney. Your tasty ginger chutney is ready.
