Bollywood actress Saiyami Kher recently accomplished a noteworthy personal feat by finishing the coveted Ironman 70.3 race in Germany. She becomes the first and only Indian actress to complete this extremely challenging competition, which comprises of three separate races: a 21.1 km run, a 90 km bicycle ride, and a 1.9 km swim.

It has always been a goal of mine, and I’m overjoyed to have accomplished it at last! It was difficult to balance 12 to 14-hour filming days with Ironman training. On other days, I could not find any drive at all, and it seemed like a struggle with myself. It was all on me; no one else could put in those hours. I finished despite all the ups and downs—missed flights, misplaced bags, and more. This race has been about being lost and then finding my way back. Not only am I glad I finished, but also that I enjoyed the adventure that led me here. It demonstrated to me the strength of willpower and the idea that nothing can stop you if you set your mind to something. I will always treasure this moment! In my acting profession as well as in endurance sports, I want to be a Lambi race ki ghodi.
