Hollywood actress Florence Pugh believes that there may be “a very mean place” on the internet.

It’s very challenging. The internet can be a cruel place. Reading comments from others criticizing my confidence or my weight hurts me a lot. It never seems comfortable. Pugh said in the October edition of British Vogue magazine, “The one thing I always wanted to achieve was to never sell someone else, something that isn’t the real me.”

To the question of whether she has always been comfortable with her physique, the actress said, “I don’t think it’s confidence in hoping people like me.” I believe it’s just a matter of not wanting to be anybody else.”

Pugh believes that in the last several years, she has really conquered a lot of her personal fears.

“I’m not a model,” the actress said while discussing the process of shooting magazine covers. It’s representing a very different, and maybe untrue, image of myself. You have to think that you are worthy of being included among those exquisite pages.

However, I now know what I want to display. Who do I want to show? I know. I know what I look like and who I want to be. I no longer feel insecure about who I am.”

According to femalefirst.co.uk, the “Black Widow” actress felt that shaving her head in 2023 before the Met Gala represented her personal growth.

“I was going through a lot of aesthetic revisions at the same time as I was making choices about my life. I thought, “That’s cool, but I don’t look like myself.” I’ve evolved. I’m evolving. When I think back on that summer, I was developing into a different person.”
