Bojjala Venkata Sudheer Reddy, the MLA for Srikalahasti, has unveiled a revolutionary strategy for the Srikalahasti Institute of Technology (SKIT), which includes a six-month timeframe for the institution’s merger with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU). Speaking to the media on Wednesday, the 100th day of the NDA government’s rule in the state, in Urandur, close to Srikalahasti.

Regarding the future of the institution, the MLA emphasized that SKIT, which is a legacy of his late father, would soon have standards raised to par with JNTU. He declared that they would bring back the institute’s prestige while keeping up with JNTU’s technical innovations. He went on to say that there will be a formal GO about the merger soon.

The MLA also described the noteworthy development initiatives that the constituency is now experiencing. He revealed that the Srikalahasti municipality has received Rs 50 lakh, which has been crucial in fixing drainage problems and lowering the danger of flooding. In addition to installing lighting in new locations, further efforts have been undertaken to alleviate the scarcity of water in rural regions by drilling bore wells. The MLA used a unique strategy to enhance community sanitation by setting up WhatsApp groups to track everyday cleanliness in each panchayat. He thinks that taking this action will guarantee more responsibility and a quicker reaction to hygienic problems.

In order to preserve the sacredness of the renowned Srikalahasti temple, Sudheer declared that political flags would be taken down from the four mada lanes that round the sanctuary. He said that in only 100 days, the temple’s earnings had reached Rs 4 crore. He also pledged to improve temple operations going forward by greatly increasing the number of Rahu-Ketu poojas, which would bring in much more money.

Concerning law and order, the MLA gave the people the reassurance that strong action is being taken to stop illicit activities like ganja usage and matka betting in the constituency. He promised that those responsible will suffer harsh consequences, emphasizing that the Telugu Desam Party’s continuous leadership is the only thing allowing Srikalahasti to advance as a whole.
