Late Sidhu Moosewala got a special tribute during the recently concluded London Fashion Week 2024. During a fashion show by the label Nebojsa, models walked down the ramp as the late singer-rapper's song 47 played. The label reshared a video on their social media from the show that was shared with the caption, "For the culture..." Many reacted to the video. An Instagram user said, "Works so well (clapping emojis)." Another commented, "Perfect for the runway."

Sidhu recently hit the news when his younger brother's cute video with parents went viral. The video shows the little one dressed adorably in a t-shirt, denim, and a traditional pagdi, while his parents, Balkaur Singh and Charan Kaur , play lovingly with him. In March of this year, Moose Wala 's parents celebrated the arrival of their son, whom they named Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu , after the late singer. Expressing their gratitude, Moosewala 's father shared in Punjabi, “With the blessings of millions who love Shubhdeep, Waheguru has blessed us with his younger brother. The family is in good health and deeply appreciates the immense love from well-wishers.”

Sidhu Moosewala was shot dead in Punjab's Mansa on May 29, 2022. His last song, SYL, was released posthumously in June 2022. Shortly after his death, the Punjab police blamed Canada-based singer Goldy Brar and gangster Lawrence Bishnoi for the murder after the former, in a purported Facebook post, took responsibility. Reportedly, the assailants had fired over 30 rounds at Sidhu, who was found slumped in the driver's seat by locals.
