The KLH Aziz Nagar Campus is pleased to announce that seven student-led enterprises have been awarded seed financing to further the development of their creative solutions that tackle real-world problems in a range of industries. These initiatives, which are funded by the KL Startups Foundation Incubation and Atal Community Innovation Centre (ACIC), seek to transform innovative concepts into workable answers for societal issues, with an emphasis on cutting-edge technologies like artificial intelligence (AI) and the internet of things (IoT).

The seed money gives students the freedom to develop their ideas and inspires them to use technology to address important problems in the modern world. These projects, which range from using AI to stop poaching to increasing agricultural productivity, showcase the innovative spirit fostered by KLH Campuses in Bachupally and Aziz Nagar.

One of the most notable projects that was funded between $10,000 and $12,000 is “Animal Protection and Poaching Using YOLO,” by Linga Sai Naresh Chowdary, which use artificial intelligence (AI) to monitor and prevent poaching of animals. Smart sensors are used in G. Nandini’s “Anti-Theft Floor” to improve security by identifying unwanted entry. The “Automated Public Lighting” system by V. Sai Sathvika increases energy efficiency by modifying lights in response to outside factors. By enabling remote healthcare access, P. Harishith Chowdary’s “E-Clinic” expands the availability of medical services. Using real-time monitoring, S. Sai Kiran’s “IoT-Based Plant Health Monitoring System” helps farmers optimize crop management. With less energy use, the “Omni-Directional Cooler” by Maroju Manju Bhargavi provides consistent cooling. Finally, the “Soil Moisture Monitoring System” developed by N. Rohith Kumar aids farmers in conserving water and improving irrigation techniques.

Vice Chancellor of KLH Deemed to be University Dr. G. Pardha Saradhi Varma commented on this accomplishment, saying, “Their goal is to encourage an entrepreneurial and creative culture across our campuses. We encourage students to come up with creative solutions to today’s serious social problems. Students are encouraged to think creatively and produce ideas that help the community via these programs and events. We provide them with vital financial assistance and resources. With the help of the seed money, these students are able to test and prototype their ideas, which moves them one step closer to creating goods that are ready for the market.”

KLH still plays a big part in encouraging students to be innovative and entrepreneurial by giving them the tools and guidance they need to develop their ideas into profitable businesses. Students are given many of chances to explore, invent, and develop under the direction of Dr. A. Ramakrishna, Principal of KLH Aziz Nagar, and Dr. Kartheek Thatikonda, Head of KLH Innovation & Entrepreneurship, in addition to committed teaching members.

These initiatives demonstrate the university’s dedication to using cutting-edge research and innovative problem-solving techniques to build a better, more sustainable future. KLH is fostering innovation in the next generation of leaders and advancing the creation of solutions that have a beneficial social effect.
