- Potatoes – 500 grams
- Flour – 250 grams
- Onion – 100 grams
- Ghee-oil – 100 grams
- Salt – to taste
- Green chillies – 5-6
- Coriander powder – 1 tablespoon
- Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
- Garam masala – 1/2 tsp
- Green coriander – 50 grams
- To make Potato Paranthas, first wash the potatoes thoroughly and boil them in a pressure cooker.
- After this, take out the potatoes, peel them and keep them in a bowl.
- Then mash the potatoes and keep them in the fridge for some time.
- Now finely chop the onion and green chillies.
- After this, take out the potatoes from the fridge and add finely chopped onion, green chili, red chili, coriander powder, salt and garam masala and mix it.
- Add chopped coriander to this mixture and keep it aside for some time, during this time prepare the dough.
- The dough should be a little soft, so that the potato mixture can be filled into it.
- After this, place the pan on the gas and heat it.
- Now make a dough ball and roll it in a round shape. Now put the potato mixture in it according to its size and then cover it from all sides and make a ball of it.
- Now prepare it by rolling it slowly.
- Do not put too much pressure on the rolling pin and prepare it by rolling it with light hands. Then gently place it on a hot pan. When the parathas are cooked from one side, turn them over and apply ghee or make the parathas thin with a spoon.
- Then apply ghee on the other side and fry till it becomes crispy. When both sides are cooked well. Now you can serve it with chutney, sauce or curd.
