A horrific road accident took place in Ballia, Uttar Pradesh this morning. A pickup vehicle full of school children lost control and collided with a parked truck near Kapuri Narayanpur. One child died in this accident and 14 children were injured. The injured are being treated in the district hospital. The condition of three to four students among them remains critical.

District Magistrate Praveen Kumar Lakshyakar says that there is a Naga Ji School in the area. There were 20 school children in a pickup. The children were coming to school. Meanwhile, the pickup went out of control and collided with a parked truck. All the children have been admitted to the district hospital. This accident is being investigated.
