The Physical Measurement Test (PMT) for the hiring of 1,000 female constables (general duty) in the Haryana Police started today at the Tau Devi Lal Sports Complex in Sector 3, Panchkula, according to Himmat Singh, Chairman of the Haryana Staff Selection Commission.



The PMT had been given to female coaches from the sports department. The whole procedure was being supervised by other professionals. He also said that the commission had set up a separate support center to handle complaints.


He explained that PMT, which is scheduled to last for three days, has a timetable. He said that the commission’s goal was to make sure that the candidates attending PMT and their guardians were happy with the preparations.


According to him, the commission has moved on with the hiring of 1,000 female and 5,000 male police constables.


In a similar vein, he said, individuals who passed CET Group-C and indicated their preferred job had also been invited to apply.


Sahiba, a female candidate from Jind district’s Julani, praised the facilities at PMT that the commission made sure were provided. She said that this was her second time applying for a police recruiting.


She said that everything was going well and that the commission had done a great job setting up all the necessities at the stadium.
