Due to which he had to face a lot of problems, but he did not give up and returned safely to his city Burhanpur in Madhya Pradesh.

Adeen Siddiqui, a resident of Burhanpur, was a topper in studies since childhood and wanted to become a doctor. To study to become a doctor, he took admission for MBBS in Dhaka Center International Medical College, Bangladesh. Everything went well for a few years and his studies also went well, but recently the situation in Bangladesh has worsened.

Protest for reservation

Students of Bangladesh started protesting for reservation. The situation worsened so much that all this was happening just 5 km away from his college. During this time, he and his friends remained locked in the hostel for seven days. Food and drink facilities were available there and 50 to 60 protesting students also lost their lives. The situation worsened so much that the government there had to take the help of police and military. Seeing the situation worsening, mobile network and internet service were also shut down.

During this time he could not even contact his family. When he contacted the Indian government, he was told to stay in the hostel, but he did not get any assurance or help from the Indian government to come back. Finally, tired and exhausted, he decided to return to India with his friends. But this path was not so easy as the atmosphere was bad and there was an atmosphere of fear. During this time 28 students came from Dhaka to the border by bus and during this they had to pay 3 times more fare. They came from Dhaka to Kolkata by bus and from Kolkata to Indore by flight and then from Indore to Burhanpur by bus.

Indian students are also stranded

There are many other students from India who have gone to study there and are still stranded there and are studying in other colleges. The student said that the Indian government had also issued a number, but we did not get any response on it. We were told to stay in the hostel or return to India if possible. The student said that our demand from the government is that the Indian government should take initiative to bring the rest of the stranded children to India as soon as possible. During this time, when he reached his home in Burhanpur, the family also heaved a sigh of relief. The family members have also appealed to the Indian government that the government should take appropriate steps to bring the students stranded in Bangladesh to their home in India as soon as possible.
