  • 1 cup cooked rice

  • 1 cup raw mango

  • 1 tsp mustard

  • 2-3 green chillies

  • 8-10 curry leaves

  • Oil as required

  • salt to taste

  • 1 tsp urad dal

  • 1 tablespoon Bengal gram lentils

  • 1 tablespoon peanuts

  • To make Mango Rice, first steam the Basmati rice. Take special care that the rice is not overcooked.

  • – Now peel the raw mango and grate it well.

  • – Now heat sesame oil in a pan. If you want, you can also use mustard oil.

  • – When the oil is hot, prepare the tempering by adding mustard seeds, urad dal, chana dal, asafoetida powder, curry leaves and green chillies in the pan.

  • – Now add grated raw mango in this mixture and mix everything well.

  • Now add this mixture to the boiled rice and mix it well.

  • Your delicious Mango Rice is ready to be served.
