A tornado warning is in place in several parts of Illinois Tuesday afternoon. Twister(s) is/are expected to land in Rockford, Belvidere, Crystal Lake, and Boone County amid the National Weather Service (NWS) active alerts.

The NWS in its latest forecast of possible tornadoes in Illinois warned that sweepers could make a touchdown in Boone County and McHenry County. Although the warnings are in place till 2:30 pm, per local time. Yet there are high chances that these could be extended due to the severe weather conditions in parts of Illinois on Tuesday.
