I'm A Celebrity's Adam Thomas came face to face with Jimmy Bullard on Friday's live reunion episode following their explosive row, with fellow campmate David Haye also wading into the dispute.

During Tuesday's episode of I'm A Celebrity... South Africa, which was filmed in advance last year, the pair clashed during the trial when Adam, 37, and Jimmy, 47, were partnered together.

After the two were paired up, Ant and Dec outlined how the camp duos needed to retrieve cogs from an abacus before handing them to their teammates to dash and place them on a box. The last pair to finish the task would face the chop.

As the trial kicked off, however, Jimmy refused to budge while the other celebrities threw themselves into the challenge. A baffled Ant and Dec swiftly attempted to urge Jimmy on, yet he remained rooted to the spot.

Jimmy conceded: "Boys, I don't think I've got it in me..." while Adam successfully manoeuvred the first cog through the abacus. The trial was abruptly halted, though, when Jimmy announced: "I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!", reports Wales Online.

Adam was left incensed by Jimmy's choice, as it meant he too would be departing the programme given they were competing as a pair. The two then became embroiled in a heated exchange before Adam dissolved into tears over his sudden and unwanted exit.

However, owing to the circumstances surrounding Jimmy's decision to quit rather than finish in last place, Ant and Dec performed a U-turn on the show's rules, putting it to the remaining contestants whether Adam should stay on the show - to which they unanimously agreed - and the former Emmerdale star secured his place in Friday's live final.

During Friday's live final, pre-recorded footage aired of Adam completing his final Trial, in which he tackled an eating challenge. Following the scenes, Gemma Collins declared in the live London studio: "Just forever will be my hero, Adam. You so deserve to win this show. Adam to win!", before adding: "You've just done so well, Adam. Just, you're amazing."

Yet David, 45, who had found himself embroiled in a "bullying" row with Adam on the show - which he denied - suddenly confronted Adam live on air. Referencing Adam's row with Jimmy, he demanded: "Do you think you deserve to win this after calling Jimmy the C-word a couple of times? Do you think you deserve to win it?"

Adam fired back with: "After the Trial, I deserve it, yeah." Hosts Ant and Dec swiftly intervened, with Dec interjecting: "David, we're going to come to this, we'll come to this a little bit later!"

Nevertheless, David pressed on, adding: "Don't you think you should ask Jimmy whether he deserves to win it?" prompting Ant to respond: "We will! We are going to ask Jimmy later and we'll speak to you as well."

David then alleged regarding Adam's row with Jimmy: "There's a lot of that stuff cut out of it" to which Ant confirmed: "There was a lot of stuff that was said that was unbroadcastable, which is why, look, we'll get into all of this later in the show! You'll all have a right to reply."

Dec then quipped about the awkward exchange: "I knew it was going too smoothly!" to which Ant added: "Yes!"

Following the row's broadcast on Tuesday, Jimmy took to Instagram to share footage of fellow contestant, Sinitta, alleging the C-word was shouted during the altercation.

Jimmy wrote earlier this week: "Wow thanks @thesinittaofficial shame that wasn't shown! My version will be told Friday! Can't wait to see you all....well some of yous!!"

Meanwhile, Adam said of the row to ITV: "It was just really random and unexpected to be honest. I didn't see it coming. Safe to say, I don't think I was too happy about it.

"The fact I felt like I was leaving because of someone else just really broke my heart more than anything as I wanted to do my kids proud. Emotions can get the better of you in there and in hindsight, I probably would never have reacted the way I did but I was just really upset."

Earlier in the series, the Waterloo Road and Emmerdale actor became embroiled in a "bullying" dispute with David.

David, 45, has since responded to the alleged tension while on the ITV spin-off programme, suggesting Adam played the "victim card". Meanwhile, Adam shared a lengthy Instagram post, writing: "He broke me in there, he pushed me to my limits, and I've told David this, and he's apologised, and that's that! I've moved on now, am not one to hold a grudge."

I'm a Celebrity... South Africa is available to watch on ITV and ITV X.
