Water is the life-giving element for all living beings. In summer, this is especially important, because without it no one can survive. If water is drunk at the right time and in the right way, it can also eliminate many serious health problems. Water not only provides coolness to the body but also increases the energy level.
Blood in the body is also formed from water. Water has so much power that it can do the work which allopathic medicines cannot do. If water is continuously poured on a rock, it can create holes in the rock. Therefore, water should always be drunk at the right time and manner. Let us know the right time to drink water and its benefits:
1. You should drink a glass of water on an empty stomach as soon as you wake up in the morning. This provides relief from problems like gas, acidity, constipation, indigestion and stomach pain.
2. Water should always be drunk by touching the glass with the lips and not from the top. Due to this, more water will enter the body and less air. On drinking water from above, outside air goes into the stomach, due to which a feeling of heaviness is felt.
3. Water should always be drunk while sitting. Drinking water while standing can cause problems like pain in joints and knees, stomach pain. Drinking water while standing causes it to hit the inner surface of the stomach at high speed, which can weaken the stomach walls and cause ulcers.
4. One should drink a glass of water before sleeping. This controls the amount of acid produced overnight and eliminates the problems of acidity, constipation and sour belching.
5. One glass of lukewarm water should be drunk throughout the day. This removes toxins from the body and cleanses the intestines.
6. It is necessary to drink 8 to 10 glasses of water a day. With this, there will be no shortage of water in the body and dehydration can be avoided.
7. By drinking enough water, dirt and salt from the body are removed through urine and sweat, which does not cause kidney and liver problems.
8. Drinking lukewarm water one hour after meals helps in digestion and removes stomach stones.
9. Water regulates body temperature and also keeps blood circulation and blood pressure balanced.
10. Water thins the blood, which makes it easier for blood to flow and reduces pressure on the heart. It is also helpful in keeping the brain active.
