This is happening because Britain's population is getting older and bigger and the older you get the more likely you are to get cancer. It is not just about age. The way people live is also playing a part. For example, more people are getting cancer because more people are overweight. 620 People out of every 100,000 are getting cancer, which is more than it was ten years ago.
