IPL 2026 Updates: Star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has given a big statement regarding his role in the current season of the Indian Premier League. He said that he leaves his ego behind before entering the field and only focuses on playing for the team. Yesterday, playing for Rajasthan Royals, Jadeja played a key role in their 40-run win against Lucknow Super Giants. In this match, he scored 43 runs in 29 balls and also took 1 wicket for 29 runs in 4 overs in bowling.
After the match, Jadeja said, “When I come on the field, I leave my ego in the hotel room itself. I just think about what the team needs from me and I try to fulfill it.” He also clarified that he has no complaints about the fact that in some matches he could not bowl his full 4 overs. Regarding his batting, Jadeja said that his aim was to last till the end. He told that if he had got out in the 17th or 18th over, the team’s score could have been 20-25 runs less, which would have made the match easier.
Regarding the pitch, he said that the ball was coming to rest on the surface of Ekana Cricket Stadium. Looking at the bowling of opposition bowler Digvesh Rathi, he made a strategy that slow bowling can prove effective for him also. Jadeja finally said that in T20 cricket, every match and every pitch is different, so players have to adapt themselves according to the conditions.
