Most top scorers from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, 5 each with 100 percentile

In the state-wise data of JEE Main toppers, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana have been at the forefront, with five candidates each scoring 100 percentile. This was followed by Rajasthan, where four students got the top score. Three candidates from Delhi achieved this feat, while two candidates each from Maharashtra and Haryana scored 100 percentile. Whereas one student each from Tamil Nadu, Bihar, Gujarat, Chandigarh and Odisha has become the top scorer. According to the press release issued by NTA, about 11.06 lakh candidates from across the country had applied for Paper-1 (B.E./B.Tech), while 4,229 candidates from abroad had registered. Around 93 per cent attendance was recorded in the examination and the success rate of Aadhaar authentication was around 97 per cent.

There is not a single female candidate among those who got 100 percentile.

The highest number of candidates who have achieved perfect 100 percentile are from General category, whose total number is 24. Apart from this, one candidate is included from General EWS category and one from OBC NCL category. Students from South Indian states have dominated among the top scorers. This time, there is no female candidate among any candidate who has secured 100 percentile.
