Vrindavan: Indian cricket team’s star batsman Virat Kohli and his wife, Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma once again reached the spiritual city of Vrindavan. On Monday, on the auspicious occasion of Akshaya Tritiya, both of them visited the famous saint Swami Premanand Maharaj and participated in the satsang. The special thing was that during this time he did not use any VIP protocol, but sat among the common devotees and listened to the sermon with simplicity.
This is his second visit to Vrindavan within two months. Earlier on 20 February 2026, both of them had come to seek blessings of Maharaj Ji. Early on Monday he reached Radha Kelly Kunj, where a satsang was being organised. Virat and Anushka sat on the ground and listened to the saint’s thoughts with a calm mind, devotion and reverence were clearly visible on their faces.
Due to Akshaya Tritiya, there was a huge crowd in the temple premises. As soon as the news of his arrival spread, the curiosity of the devotees to see him increased. However, even amidst the security arrangements, both of them did not show off anything and maintained complete simplicity. During the satsang, Swami Premanand Maharaj highlighted the importance of devotion, service and religion and described dedication as essential for mental peace in life. Virat and Anushka listened to the sermon as well as participated in the aarti.
In the last few years, spiritual inclination has been clearly seen in the personality of Virat Kohli. He is constantly visiting religious places with his wife Anushka Sharma. He also spent some time in Vrindavan and experienced the peaceful atmosphere there. People say that Virat now seems to be taking more interest in Krishna devotion. Pictures and videos of his visit are becoming increasingly viral on social media. Fans are appreciating his simplicity that despite having global recognition, he sits on the ground and attends satsang like common people. At the end of the program, both of them bowed to Maharaj ji and left from there.
