Central Railways Summer Special Trains: Seeing the increasing rush of passengers during the summer holidays, Central Railways has started special trains on many routes. Due to special trains, the passengers are able to travel comfortably and get rid of the crowd. Now 2 more special trains have been started by Central Railway. These trains will run from Mumbai to Sultanpur and Varanasi. Together, a total of 34 rounds have been planned by the railway department.

Mumbai – Sultanpur is a weekly special train and as per its schedule, train number 04211 will depart from Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 2:35 PM every Thursday from 21 May to 16 July 2026 and reach Sultanpur at 11:00 PM the next day. Whereas on the return journey, train number 04212 will depart from Sultanpur every Wednesday at 4:00 AM from May 20 to July 15 and reach Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (LTT), Mumbai at 12:20 PM on the next day. As for Mumbai-Varanasi weekly special schedule, train number 04225 will depart from Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 2:35 PM every Friday from May 22 to July 10 and reach Varanasi at 2:05 AM on the third day. On the return journey, train number 04226 will leave Varanasi every Thursday at 1:35 AM from May 21 to July 9 and reach Mumbai at 12:20 PM the next day. The train will halt at major stations like Thane, Kalyan, Nashik Road, Bhusawal, Khandwa, Itarsi, Rani Kamalapati, Bina, Jhansi, Kanpur Central and Lucknow. Central Railways Summer Special Trains

Each train will have 14 air-conditioned (AC) 3-tier economy coaches, four ordinary second class coaches and two generator vans. Central Railway has announced that the reservation for train numbers (04211) and (04225) has now started. Passengers can book their tickets through ‘UTS’ app for unreserved coaches and through ‘RailOne’ app for reserved tickets.
