Even staying inside the house in summer becomes uncomfortable and in such a situation, living in the hot sun is a very difficult task. In this season, people working in the field should take special care, because walking in the sun for a long time causes problems like dehydration and heatstroke. This can spoil your digestion, causing problems like diarrhoea, vomiting, nausea etc. Apart from this, symptoms like severe headache, high body temperature and fatigue and weakness are also seen. You can keep your health healthy even while working in the field by keeping some small things in mind.
In the summer season, it is advised that when there is strong sunlight and hot winds, one should try to stay inside as much as possible, but if there is work, it is necessary to go out. In such a situation, it is important to take some precautions, so that problems like heat stroke, dehydration can be avoided.
If you do field work, you should wear clothes which are a little loose so that the air flow remains proper, but at the same time keep in mind that your clothes should cover the body completely, that is, try to keep the hands and legs covered. With this you are exposed to sunlight to a minimum. In this way your skin also does not get damaged. For summer, one should always choose light colored clothes and fabrics like cotton, linen, khadi are best.
Apart from wearing clothes with full sleeves, make sure that your head and eyes do not come in contact with direct sunlight. For this, you should either wear a stole or a cap and hat on your head. Strong sunlight and hot wind can increase dryness and redness in your eyes, so wear good quality sunglasses. Try to carry an umbrella with you.

For this you can take drinks of coconut water, buttermilk, lemon water, chia seeds. Apart from this, eat seasonal juicy fruits. Always keep a bottle with you that keeps water cool, but keep in mind that the water should not be too cold. After getting out of the hot sun, rest for a few minutes and only then drink water.
Digestion related problems occur very quickly in summer. Especially if you are exposed to strong sunlight and hot wind, problems like diarrhea and vomiting become more troublesome, hence it is important that you keep your diet light. Eat things that are easy to digest and rich in water. Like bottle gourd, tinda, ridge gourd, cucumber, tomato, green chilli, onion, cucumber should be taken in abundance. Apart from this, avoid eating too many spicy spices, fried food and outside food.
If you are doing field work in summer then it is important to take breaks in between. Do not work continuously for many hours. This may make you feel weak. Try to sit in a shady place for some time and rest.
If you suddenly feel excessive body heat, stop the work. Sit comfortably in a cool place and drink two-three sips of water. If you notice symptoms like excessive sweating, weakness, dizziness, nausea, headache, then do not ignore it at all.
