Mohammad Siraj gave a big statement

Mohammad Siraj said, ‘Initially I played only one match during the World Cup. After that I did not get the right match rhythm. I was just practicing. So initially I was not getting the rhythm I wanted. But in the last two matches my rhythm has come back. I went to my room and watched my bowling videos, especially my run-ups. Because bowling is all about run-up rhythm. That’s when I realized what was missing. My rhythm has been good in these last two matches.

Siraj further said, ‘Visualization is very important. When you give 100%, sometimes emotions take over. So my mindset is to focus on what has worked for me and brought me success so far. I stick to the same process. It was a very good wicket. Our main task with the new ball was to bowl in the right areas as much as possible. From there the ball was seaming. Our plan was strict. If we had given away a few runs, it would have been fine, as long as we stayed in our area. This was a very good wicket for us.

Siraj said on his fielding, ‘Very good catches today as always! I am the best fielder, my aim is to contribute as much as I can in the field. So that was good, very good catch. It remains the same. There is no change. Ups and downs are part of the game but as a team we always support each other. There is positive energy in everyone. This is very important because it is a long tournament. Emotions run high in high-pressure sports, so it is very important for every player to support each other and maintain positivity.
