There is good news for candidates aspiring to secure a government job. Candidates who have been eagerly awaiting the recruitment drive for the post of Computer Operator-cum-Typist at the Patna High Court can now apply for this position starting today, April 17.
Specifically, the Patna High Court has issued an official notification announcing the recruitment for the posts of Computer Operator-cum-Typist. Interested and eligible candidates may submit their applications for this position until May 16. Furthermore, candidates have been granted until May 19 to deposit the online application fee.
**Number of Vacancies**
According to the official notification, a total of 48 posts for Computer Operator-cum-Typist will be filled at the Patna High Court. These include 22 posts for candidates in the General Category, 04 posts for the EWS Category, 05 posts for the BC Category, 09 posts for the EBC Category, 07 posts for the SC Category, and one post reserved for the backlog quota.
**Age Limit**
For the purpose of applying, a candidate's age will be calculated based on January 1, 2026. Candidates must not be under 18 years of age. Additionally, the maximum age limit for candidates has been set at 37 years. However, candidates belonging to reserved categories will be granted age relaxation.
**Eligibility Criteria**
To apply for the posts of Computer Operator-cum-Typist, candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree from a recognized institution in India. Furthermore, candidates must fulfill other prescribed eligibility requirements.
**Selection Process**
The selection of candidates will be conducted in two stages. First, a written examination will be held. Candidates who qualify in the written examination will be called for an interview. The written examination will consist of questions worth 50 marks, covering subjects such as English, Hindi, Computer Science, and Reasoning. This examination will be conducted for a duration of half an hour, and candidates are required to secure a minimum of 20 marks to qualify. Subsequently, typing tests in both Hindi and English will be conducted. Each of these two tests will carry 100 marks. Candidates selected based on the written examination will be called for an interview carrying 10 marks.
