Recent news about former Indian cricketer Vinod Kambli has led to some worry about his health. However, his wife Andrea Hewitt has spoken up to clarify the situation and firmly denied reports about his poor health.

The story in the media was strongly refuted by his wife Andrea Hewitt who said that Kambli is fit and fine. Addressing journalist Vickey Lalwani she asserted

 

Andrea Hewitt stated:

 

"By God's grace, Vinod is fine. I don't know who is spreading false information about his health." 

 

This comes as a relief for Kambli's fans who became concerned after the alarming news in the media, although she didn't confirm any earlier reports and made a firm denial of his risk of stroke.

 

Closer Associate Has a Mixed opinion on Kambli's Health-Marcus Couto expresses concerns despite Kambli's Wife's assurance.

 

Although his wife Andrea assured the public of his well-being, a close associate of Kambli, Marcus Couto suggested that while no immediate risk is in play, Kambli is in a critical situation and could still be prone to a potential stroke. However, after Andrea's direct clarification, the latter seem less significant.

Kambli was previously seen attending an event in Mumbai.

 

Kambli's most recent public appearance was at a cricket academy function held in Mumbai where he was observed looking weak, needing assistance to move, but still taking time out to chat with the kids. Support staff remained with him and ensured his safety at the event where visuals confirmed him to be frail. Nevertheless, there has been no official statement yet concerning his health and it appears Andrea Hewitt's clarification has brought a sigh of relief, the public hopes that the former cricketer will be seen in better health henceforth.
