Rishabh Pant Injured: The 23rd match of IPL 2026 is being played between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Lucknow Super Giants on April 15 at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. During this match, Lucknow captain Rishabh Pant got injured, due to which he had to leave the field mid-match.

Captain Rishabh Pant got injured during the innings of Lucknow Super Giants, after which he could not continue batting and retired hurt and left the field. Pant’s injury has increased the concern of both the team and the fans.

How did Pant get hurt?

Actually, Royal Challengers Bangalore fast bowler Josh Hazlewood was bowling the fifth over of Lucknow’s innings. Pant was on strike in this over. He could not score runs on the first two balls. After this the next ball hit his elbow directly. Pant groaned in pain as soon as the ball hit him and the physio was immediately called on the field.

Rishabh Pant looked quite uncomfortable after suffering an elbow injury. He tried to play for some time, but due to severe pain, he left the field after playing only three balls.
