News Desk. The government is continuously taking new steps towards strengthening health services in Uttar Pradesh. In this sequence, the establishment of a new hospital in Jhansi has been announced, which will bring great relief to the patients of the area. 100 beds will be reserved especially for cancer patients in this hospital.


Treatment facilities will increase in Jhansi


Amit Kumar Ghosh, Additional Chief Secretary, Medical Health and Medical Education Department of Uttar Pradesh, announced this new hospital during the review of health services in Jhansi. He also instructed the concerned officials to immediately provide land for the construction of the hospital. After this decision, people of Jhansi and surrounding areas will be able to get better and modern treatment facilities.


Cancer patients will get special benefits


100 beds in the proposed hospital will be reserved only for cancer patients. This will strengthen cancer treatment facilities in the area and patients will not have to go to big cities.


Emphasis on health review and improvement


A comprehensive review of health services was conducted in Jhansi and Chitrakootdham divisions. In this, special attention was paid to the progress of Tuberculosis eradication programme, Measles-Rubella control and Chief Minister Jan Arogya Melas. The government has given instructions to connect more people to make these schemes more effective, so that health facilities can be availed in both rural and urban areas.


Special instructions on deployment of doctors


The Mission Director of the National Health Mission has given instructions to ensure deployment of doctors as per the need. Where there is a shortage of MBBS doctors, it has been said that AYUSH and BDS doctors will be deployed.


large scale inspection campaign


To check the quality of health services, 51 inspection teams inspected 885 medical units of Jhansi and Chitrakootdham divisions. During this period, the availability of medicines, condition of equipment, cleanliness and emergency services in the hospitals were checked.
