Tezzbuzz Desk – While discussions are in full swing regarding the salary increase and date of implementation of the Eighth Pay Commission, meanwhile a big news has come out for the youth looking for jobs. 8th Pay Commission has invited applications for various posts for its research team, in which attractive salary packages are also being offered.
8th Pay Commission has invited applications for consultant based posts. These recruitments will be on contract basis, in which candidates will get the option to work both full time and part time. The selected candidates will be part of the Research and Analysis Team of the Commission, where their work will be to work on recommendations to salaries, allowances and pensions of government employees.
The Commission has issued vacancies for three types of posts:
For Senior Consultant, more than 10 years of experience and maximum age has been fixed at 45 years. For Consultant post, minimum 6 years of experience and age limit is 40 years. Whereas for Young Professionals, 4 years of experience and maximum age has been fixed at 32 years.
The salary on these posts has also been kept quite attractive:
Candidates will be selected on the basis of scrutiny of applications and interview. The 8th Pay Commission will have the right to accept or reject any application, and the decision of the Selection Committee will be considered final.
The candidates selected on these posts will not have to do routine office work, rather their main focus will be on research and data analysis. They will have to prepare such recommendations for the government, which may affect lakhs of employees and pensioners in the future.
