IPL Points Table 2026 Updated After SRH vs RR match: Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) moved to the fourth spot in the IPL 2026 standings after defeating Rajasthan Royals (RR) by 57 runs at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium on Monday, April 14.
Batting first, SRH posted 216/6 in 20 overs with skipper Ishan Kishan smashing 91 runs off 44 balls with the help of 8 boundaries and six maximums. SRH got off to a poor start after being asked to bat first as Jofra Archer removed Abhishek Sharma for a duck.
Riyan Parag removed Travis Head for 18 runs after the powerplay. Kishan stitched an 88-run partnership along with Heinrich Klaasen for the third wicket. The South African batter scored 40 runs off 26 balls, while Nitish Reddy (28 off 13) and Salil Arora (24* off 13) played explosive cameos in the death overs.
In reply, RR lost three wickets in the first over of the innings with debutant pacer Praful Hinge removing Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, Dhruv Jurel and Lhuan-dre Pretorius. Sakib Hussain dismissed Yashasvi Jaiswal for 1 in the second over, leaving RR reeling at 2/4.
Jadeja and Ferreira didn’t give up in the run chase and stitched a 118-run partnership for the sixth wicket. Sakib came on to dismiss Ferreira for 69 in the 15th over, and after that, the hosts closed the match comfortably. Hinge and Sakib picked up 4 wickets, while Eshan Malinga also took two.
