Tussle With an Umpire has Led to Penalty

The said incident happened during RCB's batting inning when Hardik Pandya was bowling the 18th over and Tim David smashed the bowler for a maximum. But as soon as the ball traveled distance, the umpires replaced the ball because it reached the boundary.

When a new ball was brought into the ground, David started playing with it and kept the ball with himself, when the on-field umpires Virender Sharma and Swaroopanand Kannur told him to give the ball, but they made repeat requests before he finally gave the ball away with a warning. This did not go well with experts as well as fans for his on-field antics.
