New Delhi: Prasidh Krishna picked up four wickets as Gujarat Titans (GT) restricted Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) to 164/8 (20 overs) in the IPL 2026 match at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow on Sunday, April 12. Most of the LSG batters got good starts but fell playing the big shot.

Sent into bat first, LSG started well as Mitchell Marsh hit a boundary and a maximum against Kagiso Rabada, but the pacer made a great comeback and removed the Australian batter for 11 on the next delivery. Skipper Rishabh Pant batted with a positive intent but threw his wicket for 18 runs to Mohammed Siraj.

Aiden Markram scored 30 off 21 balls but was dismissed by Prasidh in the seventh over. He picked up his second wicket by removing struggling Ayush Badoni for 9 runs. Nicholas Pooran (19 off 21) was unusually slow, although he smashed two consecutive maximums against Rashid Khan in the 14th over.

Abdul Samad scored 18 runs off 22 and also struggled during his knock, while the last match’s star batter, Mukul Choudhary, also failed and amassed just 18 off 14. Apart from Prasidh, Ashok Sharma also took two wickets, while Rabada and Siraj also picked up one each. With this four-wicket haul, Prasidh moved to the top of the Purple Cap holder list with 10 scalps in 4 matches.

Shubman Gill-led GT are currently placed in the seventh position in the IPL 2026 points table with one win in three matches, while LSG are in fifth spot with two victories in three games.
