Kerry Condon is set to take on a key role in Netflix’s upcoming drama series The God of the Woods.

The series pairs the 43-year-old Irish actress with the Stranger Things alum Maya Hawke in the series adaptation of Liz Moore’s 2024 novel of the same name.

In the upcoming series, the F1 actress will take on the role of Alice Van Laar, Barbara’s mother, described as “hardened by the grief of a past family tragedy and trapped in a contemptuous marriage.”

Maya, 27, will star as Judy Luptack, a “smart and quietly determined” investigator who takes on Barbara’s case as the Bureau’s first female investigator.
