The state government has intensified preparations for the inauguration of HPCL Rajasthan Refinery located at Pachpadra (Balotra), which will give a new direction to the industrial development of Rajasthan. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will inaugurate this much awaited project on 21st April.

To make this important occasion a success, Chief Minister Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma organized a high level review meeting with the officials in the Chief Minister’s Office today. In the meeting, all the arrangements to the proposed visit of the Prime Minister were discussed in detail.

The Chief Minister directed the officials that all preparations for the program should be completed in a timely and organized manner. He instructed to take special vigilance regarding security, traffic management, public convenience, stage arrangement and other arrangements.

CM Bhajanlal Sharma said that it is a moment of great pride for the people of the state that Rajasthan Refinery will be inaugurated with the blessings of the Honorable Prime Minister. He said that this project will not only give impetus to industrial development but will also provide new opportunities for employment generation and economic strengthening.

He told the officials that there should be no shortage of any kind during the Prime Minister’s visit and all departments should work with mutual coordination. Besides, instructions were also given to take special care of basic facilities for the people coming to the programme.

In the meeting, officials of various departments presented the progress report of their preparations. The Chief Minister directed all the departments to review the works from time to time and complete all the works within the stipulated time.

The Chief Minister also said that Pachpadra Refinery will write a new chapter in the progress and prosperity of Rajasthan. This will increase investment in the state, promote industrial activities and open new doors of employment for the youth.

In the end, the Chief Minister expressed confidence that all the officers, understanding their responsibilities, will leave no stone unturned in making this important event a success.
