Lucknow. In Uttar Pradesh, a big change is being seen in the direction of making the youth self-reliant through the CM Yuva Yojana. Due to the efforts of Yogi government, innovation based startups are developing rapidly in the state. Due to this, thousands of youth are getting employment and they themselves are becoming employers.

So far, more than 10 thousand innovative enterprises have been established under this scheme, which shows that the confidence in entrepreneurship among the youth is continuously increasing. The special thing is that the youth are moving beyond traditional professions and making their mark in modern and new fields as well.

CM Yuva Yojana Target 2026: Target to increase innovative startups by 25%

According to CM Yuva Yojana Nodal Officer and Joint Commissioner Industries Sarveshwar Shukla, this scheme has increased employment opportunities and Uttar Pradesh is playing an important role in realizing the vision of self-reliant India. He said that about 10% of the total enterprises established so far are based on innovative models. According to the intention of the Chief Minister, a target has been set to increase this figure to 25% in the current financial year.

Favorite startup sectors of youth: Food, digital and service business ahead

If seen sector wise, food and restaurant business has emerged as the first choice of the youth, where 763 enterprises have been established.

  • Online Teaching: 189

At the same time, interest of youth is also increasing in new and emerging areas:

District wise performance: Lucknow, Azamgarh and Hardoi become top startup hubs

If we look at the district wise figures, Lucknow is at first place with 287 enterprises. after this:

  • Jaunpur: Around 250
  • Ambedkar Nagar: 241
  • Kanpur: 236
  • Varanasi: 229
  • Rae Bareli: 225
  • Bareilly: 208
  • Firozabad: 197

It is clear from these figures that startup culture is developing rapidly in different districts of the state.
