Pilots are prohibited from wearing perfume: Aircraft pilots and crew members are very cautious about their attire. They wear attractive clothes and are always smiling. Along with this, he talks to all the passengers in the plane with a smile. But there are many rules for aircraft pilots. There is a strange rule among such rules. Yes, pilots are prohibited from wearing perfume on the plane. There is also a strong belief about this.If a pilot passes by you at the airport, in the plane or anywhere, you will not smell any smell. This is because they do not use perfume, aftershave or hand sanitizer. Pilots are taught certain rules during their training to fly safely. It is mandatory for them to follow these rules. One of these rules is that neither pilots nor crew members can use perfume. According to DGCA rules of India, pilots have to undergo a breathalyzer test before flying. This reveals whether the pilot has consumed alcohol or not. That is why they do not use alcohol containing perfume, cologne, aftershave etc. Since they contain alcohol, there is a risk of losing your job if found in the test. The breathalyzer test is very sensitive and can detect even 0.1 percent alcohol. That’s why pilots don’t use perfume. Perfume, hand sanitizer and aftershave contain small amounts of alcohol. If a pilot tests positive for alcohol, even if he has not consumed it, it can be detrimental to his work. If alcohol is found in the pilot’s report, action can be taken against him. Many times flights get delayed due to this reason. For all these reasons, pilots do not use perfume or other products containing alcohol during flight.
