Mumbai : Hamdard Laboratories, one of India’s leading and trusted health and wellness companies, has launched a nationwide campaign ‘Holistic Healing’ on the occasion of World Health Day 2026. With this initiative, the company reiterates its commitment to accessible, integrated and community-oriented healthcare for all.
Through this campaign, Hamdard Laboratories is trying to promote preventive health and holistic therapies. The initiative aims to create health awareness through a combination of research, education and community engagement. The concept of holistic healing focuses on achieving optimal health by focusing on the root causes of illness, balancing the mind, body and environment.

Non-communicable diseases such as diabetes, hypertension and heart disease pose a major public health challenge in India, accounting for around 5.87 million deaths, according to the India State-Level Disease Burden Initiative. Hence, holistic healing becomes important for prevention, early intervention and long-term health. In this background, Hamdard Laboratories is implementing various activities under ‘Holistic Healing’ and will create awareness about NCD by sharing informative content and tips through social media.
In the next phase, this campaign will be implemented in the form of programs in various cities of the country including Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Srinagar, Lucknow, Jaipur, Patna, Kolkata, Calicut. These will include continuing medical education programs to enhance the knowledge and skills of practitioners and academicians, research dialogues and Unani and Ayush conclaves and summits to raise awareness about traditional healing methods, as well as award and felicitation ceremonies to honor those who have made significant contributions to the health sector of society.
In addition, Hamdard Laboratories’ ‘Unani Ki Kahani’ initiative will complement this campaign. This initiative presents Unani healing methods through storytelling especially for the young audience. Commemorating Hamdard’s 120-year journey and airing on Discovery Channel, the initiative is highlighting the importance of natural and preventive healthcare, while also trying to raise awareness from a modern and cultural perspective. Apart from this, various outreach and awareness activities will be conducted to create awareness about preventive health and lifestyle management in collaboration with the Ministry of AYUSH.
Through these initiatives Hamdard Laboratories strives to raise awareness about preventive health, focus on lifestyle health issues and inspire people to adopt a more healthy and mindful lifestyle. At the same time, the campaign highlights the importance of integrated healthcare and shows that a holistic approach can make a positive difference to the long-term health of individuals and society.
