New Delhi: Mahindra XUV 7XO has crossed 20,000 retail deliveries in India within a little over two and a half months of its launch. Customer deliveries began on January 14, 2026, and the early numbers suggest the SUV has found strong demand, especially in its higher variants.
The initial demand has mainly come from the AX7, AX7T and AX7L trims. These versions were the most booked during the launch phase. Mahindra has also kept its introductory pricing unchanged for the first 40,000 units, so buyers can still get the current prices for the next 20,000 deliveries before any expected increase.

The XUV 7XO starts at Rs 13.66 lakh (ex-showroom) and is being picked for its updated design and feature list. On the outside, it gets 19-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, retractable door handles and black cladding around the wheel arches. The styling follows Mahindra’s newer SUV design theme.
Inside, the SUV focuses on tech and comfort. It comes with 12.3-inch screens, ventilated seats for both front and rear passengers, wireless charging and a 16-speaker Harman Kardon sound system. Buyers can choose between six- and seven-seat layouts depending on the variant.
Safety is another key highlight. The SUV includes a 540-degree camera system, a built-in dashcam, seven airbags and 17 ADAS features. This makes it one of the more feature-loaded options in its segment.
For engines, buyers get a choice between a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol and a 2.2-litre diesel unit. Both come with manual and automatic gearbox options. Mahindra is also set to start deliveries of the lower AX, AX3 and AX5 variants soon, which could further increase overall sales.
