Bureau Prayagraj- The court has given a big verdict in the case of murder of advocate Sameer Saifi (28), resident of Mohalla Laddawala of Kotwali area of ​​Muzaffarnagar city, which was followed by kidnapping seven years ago. On Monday, Ravi Kumar Diwakar, presiding officer of Additional District and Sessions Court/Fast Track Court No. 3, sentenced Singol Alvi, Sonu alias Rizwan, Shalu alias Arbaaz to death.


At the same time, the court sentenced Dinesh to seven years of imprisonment for destroying evidence. A total fine of Rs 15 lakh 30 thousand was imposed on all. The court has written in the decision that the attack is not only on the advocates but is tantamount to an attack on an institution. It is like challenging the Advocate Bar directly. To prevent the lawyer from being murdered, death penalty should be given.


Advocate Sameer Saifi inaugurated his chamber on 15 October 2019. After this, he went missing under suspicious circumstances in the evening. Father Azhar lodged a missing complaint. On October 19, his body was recovered from Sikri of Bhopa police station area.


On the basis of CCTV footage, the police interrogated the advocate’s friend Singol Alvi and the incident of murder came to light. Police had arrested Alvi, his driver Sonu alias Rizwan, servant Shalu alias Arbaaz and Dinesh.


During interrogation, the accused had told that after the kidnapping, they took the advocate to a petrol pump located on Bhopa Road. Murdered by strangulation with rope. Both the mobiles were thrown in the drain located on Kukra Road. After this, the body was sealed in a sack, dug a pit in Sikri Farm House and buried in the soil.


This incident was carried out in a dispute over the transaction of Rs 40 lakh in a poultry farm. Police filed charge sheet against the accused. Plaintiff’s advocate Anil Jindal said that six witnesses were presented. The accused were convicted on April 4.


Sonu alias Rizwan, Singol Alvi, Shalu alias Arbaaz, residents of Bakra Market of the city, were sentenced to death. Dinesh, resident of Sikri village of Bhopa, was sentenced to seven years imprisonment.


In the Sameer Saifi murder case, the court has also written the ruling of Shailendra Jaswant Bhai vs State of Gujarat, Machi Singh, Bachchan Singh, Nirmal Singh, Dhananjay Chatterjee, Shankar Lal, Triveni Ben, Mukesh and Purushottam case. An attempt was made to clarify the entire issue by quoting them.


After almost seven years, the court has given the death sentence in the murder case of Sameer Saifi (28) of Ladwala, Muzaffarnagar. Ravi Kumar Diwakar, Presiding Officer of Fast Track Court No. 3, Additional District and Sessions Court, in his 52-page decision, has commented on murder in relationships, human aspect, rights of advocates and the status of deliberations.
