Splitsvilla 16's Ruru Thakur confirms breakup with Yogesh Rawat; says, “It ended for good”
Splitsvilla 16 has been making headlines lately due to several controversies surrounding the show. Recently, rumours of Ruru Thakur and Yogesh Rawat's breakup started doing the rounds after Ruru hinted about it through his Instagram stories. Now, Ruru has put an end to end all the speculations and has confirmed the news of her breakup during a live session on Instagram. She shared that their relationship is over, and this time, it’s final.
For those unaware, Yogesh picked his ex, Ruru, over Akanksha after she entered Splitsvilla 16 as a wildcard contestant. This decision led to backlash and many fans started criticising him for not being honest with Akanksha from the start.
A video from Ruru's Instagram live session is going viral on social media, where she is seen talking about the news of her breakup with Yogesh Rawat. Ruru read a fan’s comment accusing them of faking drama and clarified that it’s not the case and added that the breakup is genuine. She said, “Toh main bata du yeh ho gaya hai. Khatam ho gaya hai. Ye koi deny karne wali baat nahi hai. (So let me tell you, the breakup has happened. It’s over. This is not something to deny). It has actually ended. And I feel it ended for good."
She also stated that she was unhappy watching the latest VDs in Splitsvilla episodes. She shared that she accepted a lot because her feelings were real, but later understood that ending the relationship was the right decision. She made it clear that the breakup is genuine and not staged.
Ruru shared on her Instagram stories last week, “I gave all my love to this man, on the show, after the show. Understood every mistake, but he was just sitting and making a fool out of me, hurting me again and again. I am tired, man. I’m genuinely hurt and tired."
She added, "He left me all alone during his show when the whole Yoganksha ship was happening. If you wanted it so bad after y’all became famous, you should’ve said so. I was leaving you peacefully; you didn’t have to show up at Urfi’s party to convince me. Now I think you were just using me for the show."
She lashed out at Yogesh for taking advantage of her feelings and revealed that someone had warned her he might leave her, as he was planning to go to Bigg Boss with Akanksha. She further hinted at a breakup, saying, “I’m still crying every day ‘coz I can’t make it work out myself, even if love is involved from my side, and my side only."
Yogesh also did not stay silent and slammed Ruru for spreading false narrative against him.
