How will Flipkart pay for your flight tickets?

Thanks to the recent partnership between Flipkart and Air India, you can now convert the ‘SuperCoins’ earned by shopping on Flipkart into Air India’s ‘Maharaja Club Points’. Through the partnership between these two companies, any Flipkart member can transfer their ‘SuperCoins’ to the ‘Maharaja Club’ at a ratio of 5:2. This means, for every 5 Flipkart SuperCoins, you will get 2 ‘Maharaja Points’. To convert SuperCoins into Maharaja Points, you need to have at least 50 SuperCoins balance. These points transferred by you will appear credited to your Maharaja Club account within 193 working days. Once credited to the Maharaja Club account, these Maharaja Points cannot be converted back to Flipkart SuperCoins.

‘Maharaja Club’ offers its members an opportunity to earn ‘Maharaja Points’ while booking flights on Air India and Star Alliance partner airlines. Any member can book Award Flights on Air India and its ‘Star Alliance’ partner airlines using these ‘Maharaja Points’.

What exactly is ‘Maharaja Club’?

‘Maharaja Club’ is Air India’s ‘Frequent Flyer Program’ (FFP), which rewards passengers with ‘Award Seats’, ‘Cabin Upgrades’ and more. It was announced that Flipkart has added SuperCoins as its ‘Points Conversion Partner’ from March 30, 2026. Under this partnership, any Flipkart member can transfer their SuperCoins to their Maharaja Club account at a ratio of 5:2. This means, 5 Flipkart SuperCoins can be converted into 2 ‘Maharaja Points’.

To convert the points into Maharaja points, the member must have at least 50 Flipkart SuperCoins. Once credited to the Maharaja Club account, these Maharaja points cannot be converted back to Flipkart SuperCoins. These points can be used to book flight tickets, get lounge access, upgrade from ‘Economy Class’ to ‘Business Class’ and get extra baggage allowance.

How to convert Flipkart SuperCoins to Maharaja Points?

First open Flipkart app, go to ‘Categories’ and select ‘SuperCoins’ option.

Select the ‘SuperCoin Partners’ option and search for ‘Air India Maharaja Club’.

Link your Maharaja Club account using your Maharaja Club ID.

Select the number of SuperCoins you want to transfer and proceed with the process.

Your Maharaja Points will be credited to your account.
