A small gesture of kindness of a three-year-old boy in a McDonalds restaurant has moved thousands of people on the internet after his mother posted the story and international media followed suit.



As told by the mother of the boy, the child observed an old man sitting alone and having his meal at the restaurant. Curiosity set in and he questioned his mother as to why the man was sitting alone. She told that the family of the man could be living elsewhere and he had come to eat alone.



Then, after some consideration, the boy picked up his meal, and walked up to the old man and requested him to have his meal with him. Then he took his seat and ate with the man as though it were the most natural thing in the world.



The mother of the boy later wrote that she was moved by the moment and even cried as she was standing in the restaurant. Nothing serious had occurred, she wrote, and the little show of good-naturedness on the part of her son touched her.

The story, reported by KFOR, went viral, and most people were admiring the kindness of the child and how he was brought up. Another fact noted by many users was that children tend to be kind hearted and they do not involve overthinking to situations as opposed to adults.



The mother also said that her son liked to communicate with older people and that he particularly missed his great-grandparents who died. He might have thought that he was visiting a grandfather and not seeing a stranger when he noticed the old man sitting alone.



The family later found out that the old man had been a close friend to the great-grandfather of the boy and had been living near them and therefore, the incidence was even much emotional to them.



The story has gone viral on the Internet, and most individuals have indicated that the child did such a simple thing because it was the best way to remind those around him that kindness does not necessarily have to be a grand gesture. It may even be as easy as sitting with the person so that they do not have to eat alone.
