Bengaluru: Heavy security arrangements have been made for the IPL match between RCB and CSK at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium on Sunday, April 5.
Bengaluru Police Commissioner Seemanth Kumar Singh stated that only those with valid IPL tickets should approach the stadium.
Speaking to the media, he warned that strict action will be taken against individuals loitering suspiciously around the venue. Precautionary measures are in place to prevent any untoward incidents, and the Commissioner advised spectators to use Namma Metro or BMTC buses to reach the stadium.
Reflecting on the previous match, the Commissioner noted that the police and other departments worked in coordination to successfully manage the crowds. He added that BMTC has been requested to provide shuttle services and additional buses.
Public cooperation is sought to avoid traffic congestion on Queens Road, Cubbon Road, Link Road, and M.G. Road. Fans are encouraged to arrive early and utilize the designated holding areas.
