Ever since the film was announced, there has been tremendous buzz among fans and the industry. The makers recently released a glimpse of “Peddi Pahalwan,” showcasing Charan’s incredible wrestling transformation, which has been the talk of the town.
Director Bucchi Babu Sana explained the training behind Charan’s new look. According to the filmmaker, the 41-year-old actor worked very hard, training every day for almost eight months to achieve a wrestler-like body. His discipline wasn’t just limited to training; he also completely abstained from non-vegetarian food during the Ayyappa initiation.
Sana said, “Every wrestler uses a mace for training. His character in ‘Peddi’ has a deep connection with the mace, which he uses as part of his workout. He has trained extensively with it, and it is also used in the fight sequences along with mud and traditional wrestling setups.”Also penned by Sana, the film is produced by Venkat Sathish Kilaru under his banner, Vriddhi Cinemas, in association with the renowned production house, Mythri Movie Makers. The film is scheduled to release on April 30, 2026.
