Bollywood actress Malaika Arora, renowned for her item songs, has leased out her apartment located in Bandra West, Mumbai, for a total rent of ₹1.17 crore over a three-year period.

According to Mumbai real estate sources, the apartment, situated in the Veda building near Carter Road, has been rented out for 36 months with an initial monthly rent of ₹3.10 lakh. The rental agreement includes a 5 percent annual increment in rent. As a result, the monthly rent for the second year is set at ₹3.25 lakh, and for the third year, it will rise to ₹3.41 lakh. This structure brings the total rental income over three years to ₹1.17 crore.

The lease agreement was officially registered on March 18, 2026. For this registration, a stamp duty of ₹30,819 and a registration fee of ₹1,000 were paid. The apartment has been leased to a tenant named Aditi Rao, who has also deposited ₹20 lakh as a security amount.

The property, located in one of Mumbai’s most sought-after neighborhoods, provides scenic views and easy access to the city’s key areas. The agreement ensures both security for the owner and clarity for the tenant, detailing the annual rent increase and other terms of the lease. Leasing high-value residential properties in Bandra West has become a common trend among celebrities, allowing them to generate substantial rental income while maintaining their investments in prime real estate.

Malaika Arora’s decision to lease out her apartment highlights the lucrative potential of Mumbai’s luxury property market, especially in areas favored by Bollywood personalities.
